And that sentiment right there is what people have a problem with. They shouldn't be trying to balance the field out. As Bungie implied, the Gally is their "nuke". They (Bungie) created exotic weapons to be the best in their respective fields. Then they took elemental damage away from primaries, lowered range, stability and damage on a lot of them, added perks that hinder them. Now they are nerfing even more. Leveling the playing field is a bad idea as there should be a hierarchy to weapons in a a game like this. Really, a green should not out shoot a purple. Let's be honest here, there really is no viable reason to nerf the Gally. It's supposed to be the great destroyer.
