So tonight while me and my raid crew were messing around in normal VoG, we decided to find out what would happen if you stood on top of where the Conflux spawns, right before it spawns. The result was a shell in which you could fire out of, but the enemies COULDN'T shoot through. I was able to stand safely inside and shoot out with my fatebringer, shotgun, and even my gjallarhorn (making sure to not point blank rocket sacrificing vex just in case it would obliterate me). Can someone else try this and write me back on the result? I would like to know if it was just a glitch or if it can be replicated. Thanks :)
