Sad. I worked in fast food when I was 16. I hated it. No it wasn't mentally challenging but at least where I worked you busted your ass. It was a full shift of constant movement and having some egotistical jerkoff of a manager screaming at everyone. Corportate would come in and be even bigger pieces of crap I'm not saying they should be paid extraordinary amounts, but they deserve more. McDonalds got rich off of paying slave wages

Same here; worked for KFC as a cook at 17, which is suppose to have 2 day cooks. The manager decided I was fast enough and fired the other cook so I had to handle it all myself. Funny also because he apparently didn't look at my application very well because when Corporate came he came to me and took me to the office and said "You're only 17!? You aren't suppose to work in the kitchen until you're 18, so if they ask you, you tell them you're 18 or I'll fire you" Pretty shady dude he was.
