It's funny. In one article I read of them trying to sell me on moving on from year 1 weapons, they list a quote from Bungie of them saying how they made new weapons for us to get excited for and fall in love with after hunting them. So You have to sell people on falling out of love with their weapons to sell them on falling in love with the new weapons :) okie dokie

Yeah, it's not the best way to appeal to players... Especially the ones that are happy with their current gear, because [i]no one[/i] buys thesd DLCs for just weapons; they buy them for [i]the experience[/i], which will be resoundingly disappointing if players aren't allowed to play it how they want. :P
