I got it on a strike very early on, with a good roll, tried it out once or twice. The stupid thing sucked mega ass and served its purpose by giving me enough weapon parts to upgrade my MIDA. Why do people like it so much????
EDIT: Thanks for 1k comments!! I ran one dragon strike for shits and giggles today. One. First try. I got another Hopscotch Pilgrim. So thank you everyone

Wow you're really bad at this game if you couldn't do well with the hopscotch pilgrim...

Edited by BFGesus: 8/8/2015 11:56:24 AMI can get a better K/D with Thorn. One time I went 22/1 with it. http://tinyurl.com/o32gtkj

Cause it's good and Re-rollable.
-
It's rare and really powerful.

The planet destiny review trys to sum up your questions. (The reviewer sounds like a strapping young lad btw) As far as the people saying "it's for people who can't go flawless" I have all trials weapons (when I say all, I mean all specials, all heavy , and all 12 of the primary weapons) with each damage for each of the primaries. I am a messenger fan. It wins in pve, no doubt, because of its arc, solar, or void burn. The video states this, as well as range being the only stat that the messenger has over the hopscotch. The hopscotch is popular because the base mag, reload, aim assistance, equip speed, and stability are better on the hopscotch pilgrim. You can also reroll it. With what we just learned, if you roll third eye and headseeker (like the messenger ). I think you just might have a better gun. A perk like small bore in the mid tier will drop the mag to 27 and will add more range. You can also max out the stabiity to 100%. Perfect balance on the Messenger/added sight will have a maximum of 93 stability. Believe it or not, that extra 7 makes a world of difference. There will always be a debate between the two. You just have to see what you find value in - CoolGuy

I don't know either, spare change is basically the same gun with one having better range and the other better stability

Edited by mattnozz: 8/8/2015 3:55:18 PMIt's great on maps where most of the time the enemy is going to be at range
-
The mida is better if you know how to strafe
-
I woke up and fell asleep I dreamt i got it for 2 minutes It had wolfpack rounds Wut
-
It's better than the Messenger easily because you can get Feeding Frenzy and Reactive reload making go from 38 headshot to 51 absolutely destroying people I personally have it
-
Because, people that are good with pulse rules want the best one available. It has awesome base stats and the same ttk as the Messenger, plus can be rolled for better perks. Also it's recoil/bullet spread are excellent.
-
Still do better with my NLB.
-
It's poo
-
Because no weapon (maybe last word if user is good) will ever outgun me.
-
I just went into a game of clash solo and went 26 and 5 with it. Had the highest amount of kills and the least amount of deaths out of all 11 other people. It's good.

Here watch this
-
It got me my first flawless today :)
-
For people that don't play Trials, it's the closes thing they will get to having the Messenger.

Best pulse rifle.
-
Too bad it's going to be obsolete soon.
-
It's a Messenger (with a little less range) with the ability to customize it's perks allowing for more versatility
-
It has the same impact and rate of fire as the messenger but has the possibility of max stability and more ammo in the magazine. It is a PvP monster, killing in two bursts.
-
What about spare change?
-
Won't even matter in 5 weeks
-
Because it is a great gun for PvP. I do not normally use pulse rifles but this one is a keeper. My k.d. on my hunter and warlock has steadily been climbing since I started using it. Check my all time compared to the last 7 days. It literally has been the best weapon I have found to stay at medium range and out gun thorn and TLW. close quarters not so much.
