No offense, but that sounds like "this person is abusive to me, but that's just how they are and there is nothing I can do to change that so why even try?"
Not a good mentality.

When it comes to a game and the vision it's developer has, it's a pretty decent one. It's not your place to tell them to change their vision. Sure, you can give then feedback, but it's not like the community writes and codes the game.
-
It is my place, especially when they swear up and down that they listen to their players and they look for their players to guide their development.
-
Exactly. GUIDE DEVELOPMENT. Not write and dictate it. I'm quite glad you show such care for the game, and I want to help you see it. They don't want legendaries from year one reigning supreme going forward in the long run. They want you to rediscover the joys of finding the games great weapons.
-
No, they think we think that we aren't going to use the new weapons if they keep the old ones relevant for the game going forward. They likewise think that we all think using the same gun for 10 years is boring. That isn't players guiding, that isn't players being listened to. This thread is evidence that myself and many others all think differently and don't appreciate being TOLD what we think. That is for US to decide.

Were not even taking about making Bung-hole change, were asking to hang on to what we already paid for going forward. Call of Dirty releases a new game once a year, but they don't cut support for the old games. You buy a game expecting it not to be forced into irrelevancy. Taken King destroys everything that Destiny was by making all of the rewards irrelevant and making $100 of content now cost $20 when bundled with TTK.

Yep, exactly.
