It's not unreasonable to ask that the forums not be filled with complaints that were constantly posted about from the first month of release. If you're upset enough to write weekly essays on how much this game has screwed you over, you must expect to be told that it may be the best thing for you to move on. Do you really expect that they are going to reverse engineer months of programming? It is a ritual that the community jumps on any announcement by Bungie. As a result, there is barely ever relevant feedback on these forums and I find that if anybody posts anything about weapon or class balance, it is the same people that constantly complain about the game, that will tell you that you are the type of person who is ruining the game(via nerfing etc). we are moving into year two, it's obvious that guys like you don't like the direction of Bungie is taking, so why would you continue(much less invest more money)? With the expansions, the excuse was "I bought the game and season passes, and I'm demanding that Bungie makes up for my dissatisfaction", or "I'm playing it out and getting my money's while letting my voice be heard". Now, there is no excuse to drop another cent into the game. The cat is out of the bag about legacy weapons not leveling and the final excuse that "now I'm playing because, despite constantly railing on the game, I've sunk hours into it and want to retain that progress". There is no reason to stick around man. None at all. Move on. Find a game you enjoy and if you are the type of person who likes drama and is a part of the new generation of gamer that wants to politicize everything involved with it, at least move to a game where you "feel" your voice is heard. I mean is this completely unreasonable? You claim that you are a part of the majority, and you are most certainly a part of the majority on these forums. However, based on the 130 people on my friends list, not a one of them share your thinking concerning this game. Sure, I discuss with other players all the time about how the game can improve, or ideas on how to make that a reality, but it never quite echoes the pervasive, overarching attitude that "it's Bungie's mission to screw the player". If I, or any of the intelligent people I play with regularly felt that way, we would simply not play. In fact, that happened in reality with Final Fantasy 14(I have never returned to that game or its Forums). Have you considered that Destiny is not designed for you? Have you considered(and there is considerable evidence to back this up) that Bungie is basing changes, less on the emotional reactions of players, and more on what players are actually doing based on metrics in combination with player feedback? With that said, or shall I say, with that theory proposed, your best course of action, and the best way to have your voice heard, may be to cease support for the game. On the idea that it is your kind that hold the game up, and your leaving being detrimental to the survival of the game(by way of players leaving in a mass of frustration). I'm more than willing to make that sacrifice. Under that logic, leaving would be the perfect tool for retribution against Bungie and their fanboys. Personally, I would rather the game die out, than have it constantly compromised by people who don't know what they want, expect to much to soon, or don't like anything at all.

  • The vast majority of this has already been dealt with from others having attempted saying such. Bottom line, there are many who feel the same way as me and we will, in fact, quit the game if we end up getting a repeat of the Dark Below. End of story.

You already have your mind made up. Why in the hell would you buy TTK? All I would have to do is copy 3 of your last posts to get you to understand that you are wasting your time. When does the drama end?

  • Exactly the point being made, why in the hell would we buy TTK? That is what I've been saying.

Alright, so on the release of TTK, you're concern with the game ends correct? No more need to worry about how Bungie is theoretically treating the people who purchased the game/expansion, because you won't know first hand how it played out? Perhaps you will move on to a game that you enjoy, by a publisher that you respect? Maybe you will use you intellect and writing skills to discuss positive aspects of your hobby, as well as negative ones? I know I'm tough on you but at least throughout this ride, you, and other good guys like Lost Sols have class and don't generally resort to calling guys like me an ignorant sheep or a fanboy. I have often times come across a defender of the game/fanboy etc. But I actually agree with many of the things you guys say. It's often times the speculation, accusations, and general ideological spin, that I'm arguing against because I believe it pulls us off point. There is no way that you guys, with all the work you put into your posts, are not passionate about the game, however, it's never going to be what you want and you will always resent it because of a burnt first impression. They will never cave to demands and they are going to continue to make the game the way they want it. It's time to let go, and let the drama end. I think however that Destiny 2 is going to be closer to what you wanted.

  • The day good men stop trying to make a difference will be the darkest day for all humanity. Because at that point, the balance is broken and things like greed, corruption and evil itself can then run rampant and unchecked, with no restrictions. I wouldn't call it being tough on me, you're presenting your point of view in a polite manner. But yes, if things don't change, come TTK you will not be seeing me on here anymore. I won't be getting TTK though I won't be getting rid of my $100 game just because of how much was spent on the sucker. I might hop on from time to time, assuming I'm not addicted to something else like Tom Clancy's The Division. But at such point, what goes on with the game and the community stops being my concern as I am doing my part to try and bring about changes, which all anyone can really do at that point is to simply not buy anything more from Bungie/Activision.

I wish there was some way to get you to understand that you are in fact, creating the scenario you are fighting against by accepting consumerism and the associated entitlement that comes with it. I'm constantly told by this community that I am a sheep who simply accepts what I'm given, when in truth, I simply don't want to bring geo-political nonsense into the area of my gaming... This was never, what it was about... Perhaps I'm getting old.
