Destiny you paid for a beta tester not a game.

Basically it seems like they are still trying to figure it out when in fact it was already done. What we end up with is a story full of holes, like who really knows what's going on and who goes off game to read the grimoire. While I appreciate them listening to the players it seems that the game started as one awesome epic mmo has evolved into basically a shooter with an emphasis on pvp even though only 10% of players play pvp (thanks to Activision for trying to push a call of Duty game plan). With every update comes hey let's try this or let's try that. My question is where are the visionaries who originally designed destiny and why did they let this game get butchered and my hope is that this games future content is more solid and concrete. I want a full game up front with Destiny 2,3 and so forth I don't want betas unless they are free testers and I don't want bits of content pulled from the game then sold back to me when I have paid full price for a full game. Thanks for reading.

The original lead writer, Joseph Staten, left Bungie around January 2014. Presumably because of a dispute over Destiny with Activision. At which point they rewrote the whole game story and introduced the grimoire, which would would explain the choppy dialogue and lack of story. A game that had been in development for 7 years would never be this lacking unless something huge happened near the end of the dev cycle. Staten went to 343 to continue with Halo, of I'm not mistaken.
