I'm sure you're aware that you can still use the weapons after TTK. They will just be stuck at 365.... Same as when they were stuck at 300 when TDB was released, nothing different there.

Of course I used them at 300; because [i]I had no choice[/i]. It doesn't change the fact that it still annoyed me to no end. Bungie gave us the eventual ability to upgrade those weapons, though; like I said in my post, that was the reason I've been happy with the gear system up until this point, because you had to work for it, but there's the [i]potential[/i] to keep them current, if players chose to go the extra mile for it. My one big complaint so far was that I think Etheric Light is WAY too easy to obtain, almost laughably so. I hope Bungie brings back a system that continues the ability to "ascend" weapons, but simply makes it harder to do.

They had their use, now it's time to move on to bigger and better things. I doubt you'd care about it in a few months and anyway, you can still use them for the content that has already been released should you feel the need to be nostalgic and do VoG, you can still also use them in NF with burns
