I respect your opinion, but I dont agree with it.
Old gear still will be relevant in the Crucible. And Destiny is an MMO.
Cheers.
Destiny's weapons are infinitely more meaningful to players than any MMO weapons could ever hope to be
Not true. Tell that to my Valakas Necklace from Lineage 2 that took 2 years for me to get and my end game weapon. :)
Getting Destiny weapons is literally nothing compared to other MMOs. Borderlands 2 anyone?

Adept Primaries are pretty damn hard to get, man. That's hardly a "joke," as I'm sure you'd agree. And when I say "meaning," I don't just mean sentimental value; I'm talking about it's direct impact on how a player interacts with the game. Feeling, not just stats. :P

I never made a comparsion as getting them being a "joke" tho :P The current loot system is annoying, but hope is on the horizon!

Getting weapons in Borderlands 2 is a -blam!-ing joke don't even try lol. I can literally go on my X1 and drop you any gun/classmod/item etc etc you can possibly imagine.

Finding and duping aren't the same brotha :) mad respect if you farmed numerous days for every single piece though

Edited by raj: 8/6/2015 8:40:41 AMDefinitely wasn't duping lol. More like hex editing. So essentially id be 'giving away' what I dropped. I would do it in Destiny if it were possible as well.
