I understand leaving behind vendor gear etc. although I would still prefer the option to upgrade them. However, leaving behind raid items is just stupid. The raid gear is some of the best gear in the game and the raids are the best pve experiences that the game had to offer. If we end up able to find uncommon items with higher stats than current raid gear, why bother doing a raid?

Exactly. Why even bother with raids if the gear is all [i]totally[/i] useless? Honestly, that seems like a [i]really[/i] poor decision, so I'm still somewhat hopeful that Bungie has something up their sleeves to keep us happy.

I'm hoping that they either make raid gear an exception or introduce new rewards for completing raids, I love vog but I'm not running it for irrelevant gear.
