Such a dumb argument. We should be a able to use a mix of old and new.

What about PvP? What does PvP have to do with anything?

You can still use old guns in PvP because of the "no level advantage". So the only thing the new guns will have is slightly more complex abilities and different stats. Attack is ignored.

Then you can still use your old guns with no problem. Just not in pve.

Not in my eyes. They still make you loot, earn, and find new guns, but if you still want to use the old ones, you have to use them in pvp.

You can use a mix of old and new there. You will also be stopped by blueberries wanting to know where you got it if that is what floats your goat.
