I have to disagree that it's best for the game. More is always better than less. Just like balancing weapons up is better than balancing them down. I was talking with some of my buddies early and this is the primary problem I see with the logic of thinking everyone will be using fatebringer for 10 years: If people are using year 1 weapons exclusively in years 2-5 and so on, that says something about Bungie's devs and their creative ability. What should be happening is they create new weapons that excite us and combat the abilities of old weapons. Taking our weapons away isn't the answer, giving us more diversity is.

I think Fatebringer is overrated as balls, man. VoC is pretty great, but I prefer my Scholar, to be honest. Don't pigeonhole me, bro. ;) I'm mainly concerned about having to re-earn [i]all[/i] of my Adept weapons from Trials. RNG's a jerk, and getting all 4 in my preferred element [i]again[/i] is a pretty annoying prospect. -_-
