The fact that PvP isn't effected is another one of my complaints. As a mainly PvE player, I feel like I've been screwed over and over by every update, for no reason.
And I'm down for moving on to new stuff, but I'll reiterate myself; why does moving on to new gear necessitate getting rid of old gear? In a game that advertizes diversity, should Bungie want to keep as much gear as possible?

My opinion is that diversity can be very diverse. :) (see what I did there) I think diversity in games can look different in that it has a very large number of options. Or maybe that it has a constantly evolving, and changing number of options. Both are diverse.
