Ever played borderlands? I loved a gun I had at level 20 but after 50 I moved on. Every game is like this

Yes borderlands is one of my favourite game series. The difference being. I could find the exact same weapon that was level 20 as a level 50 weapon. Meaning I still could use the gun I loved. The gun never changed. The level of the weapon did.

Does BL have a super multiplayer mode where you have to beat awesome players for a CHANCE at an awesome gun?
