Sorry but i totally disagree with you. Destiny from the start should have had the format exactly as they had it when you get to level 20. It should have never changed after that. They realized the error and are now correcting it going forward. Its a smart move for the future of the franchise.
I played Destiny since the very first day of launch. I grinded my tail off. I have all 3 character types at level 34. Even with all that I welcome the change. I decided to grind I wasn't forced to. Now they will make it a much better process going forward, so how is this a issue?
What all that grinding did was make me a better player. I become a better player in PVE and PVP, so if you look at things in a different perspective you will see there still was a positive from grinding.
Also polls don't mean nothing in this forum. The amount of members in here are no where near the total of overall destiny players.
Bungie I like the direction you're going with the franchise. Good Job!

Lmao are you ok? They are making it better , and I'm good with that. You make mistakes I make mistakes, and when we realize it. It's good to correct it. This happens all the time on all areas. Bungie is no different. You're just making noise to make noise. You can't see outside the box. What's great is that you don't have to play anymore. Destiny is heading in the right direction. You either for it or not. Your rant in the end means nothing to me. I understand what they are doing, and appreciate it. I never contradicted myself. I made a observation to what we had before, and read what they are changing, and agreed with. I also realized it should not have changed after level 20. You are trying way to hard to make your argument. Just learn to respect other people's opinion without being such a dick about it.

What was the point then? With 3 hours worth of original content outside of the raid the only thing that held any value at all was the grind for better gear. Now that's been rendered meaningless. 60 bucks for a 3 he game? FFS that's ridiculous.

With the light system being removed to level up to 40, do you think current level 34 characters will have to start back at 1, back at 20, or continue from 34?

The game informer article suggested you start at your current level.

I hope this is the case and that Bungie clarifies this detail. There will be a lot of angry Day 1 players if they have to start back at 1 or even 20.
