So...getting more powerful guns than what you have is a bad thing? You keep your guns, they are NOT useless when you start TTK. You can figure out what you want to keep or let go as you find the new stuff. People still use the Fatebringer, it's not a 365 weapon and it's not useless in game. This game is about the grind for better gear, the next stage of the game is coming out. Get ready to grind for better gear. I don't see the problem.

  • All current weapons and gear will no longer be ascended. So 365 will be it for current and whatever armor max lvl is to. I just hope that for Weeklies they keep the currentl lvls and just add a new max dif. And add more coins. Cause a lvl 38 Weekly shouldn't give 9 coins. The rewards better be much better also. Like the Daily could be a lvl 38 in then it better give 20-30 Marks like with the HoW Daily. Anyways i can see now that the Tryhards stay up an 48 hrs staright, beat story and whatever, get some good weapons, wreck people with new weapons and then all the " Nerf this" will start all over again.

  • I don't like grinding for content to become obsolete.

  • I think you forget Destiny has MMO elements, which makes this a very normal decision.

Sadly it's how it is in any game that wants to live a long life span. The grind is the circle of life, never ending. When it does end, I think the game has run its course. There's got to be reasons to keep playing, if its not for a spectacular story than there'd better be goodies to have fun with.
