For fun? Do people not play games for fun anymore.

I only play games with progress, I like to feel my time invested was not a waste of life Now do u understand why I am angry I could of spent my time doing something better than grinding for a certain perk on my armour and rerolling weapons

You want a game with progress but dont want to drop old gear and progress to new gear. I can see why people would want to carry old gear going foward but for a loot game that provides new gear it doesnt make sense because then people just wouldnt bother with new gear if all they have to do is ascend old gear to keep up. This ultimately will stop progression in a game if people dont have an insentive to obtain new gear. For example. I personally have no reason to play trials other than for fun because in my opinion the weapons are sub par. And my old vog guns still beat most objectives in pve. Atleast this way it gives me a reason to play and progress in the game and in the end have fun with friends while doing it.

It's not what they do It's the way they look They should make a reskin so when u get new gear u can make it look like old gear (if u have the old gear) Maybe I like the look of my trials boots and want to use them in 3years time It also does not effect u as much as u have only put a bit of time in to this game It's opinion against opinion u want change I don't and I would probably say the player base is 50/50 over this decision

Now that I can agree with. Transmog I think its called. Im fine with reskinning armour. I just dont think we should carry old weapons forward. But taking some new boots, liking the stats but then changing the look of them. Im 100% in support of. But sadly I dont think bungie would implement that.
