DPS meaning damage per shot? Damage per second? I don't really get the DPS argument so if you have time please enlighten me. The only time a LMG is useful to me personally is Atheon oracles and for that SGA is king and corrective measure is prince. On a arc nightfall I run an arc LDR with surplus because my Dreamwaker is going to out perform any LMG as long as I have rockets, including Thunderlord. That's just my opinion. If you use Thinderlord all the more power to you. I used to use LMG's when I first started playing up until I realized rockets are better. Thanks :)

DPS as in damage per second. The thunderlords increasing fire rate does not lower the impact of the bullets. If all shots in the magazine are fired at a target and at least half (I'd hope more because it's a boss)are precision shots then the weapon will deal more DPS than any other gun in the game. I remember seeing a video a while back were there are three Titan on an arc burn sepicks prime nightfall. All three had 331 (Max at time) thunderlords in three Titan bubbles. One with weapons, one with blessing, and one with armor. Three all unloaded into him as soon as possible. They killed him before his first mandatory teleport to the back of the map causing a second sepicks prime to teleport there so they had to kill him again.
