I use my mobile WiFi to play while away from home and I don't see it ruining other people experience in pve or pvp. Most of the time it ruins my play. I shoot someone and they just keep running off. I can see all the people reporting red bar folks for ruining "their" experience but ( we all are very indeed entitled in this community) personally, if I'm in a game I don't like I'll just leave. It's only a game and there's alway the same round or thing to do right around the corner with other folks if we don't like our current group. People not going to go out of their way to make our experience any better....we all already know the answer to fix the red bar issue. Bungie will say who gives a fu** about your experience? Pay me! You don't like it? Pay me! You want me to do something about it? Pay me! You know what? Pay me! And enjoy your game.

Isn't the mobile hotspot connection strength based on your phone's signal? If so, wouldn't having a 4G connection be just as good as an ethernet connection?

Yes, time to time it works wonders. But sometimes when getting txt msg or using destiny app. It drains a little bit of the data and you'll actually see the "contacting destiny server" msg. Or even red bars. I think alot of people going to try to use this lag trick to some advantages. The only thing I did once that was really cool was when clicking to select a character too quick, I went into creating a character and I already had three fully upgraded characters. 4th character? Yes! That's what I was thinking but I never click on confirm creation since I didn't care too much about having another same class character. Regret not creating it so much now. Now that I need more vault space.

I sort of know how annoying getting notifications can be, espexially when I'm watching Netflix or YouTube on it and the notification cuts the sound of the video for a few seconds.
