THIS IS WHY DESTINY DLC IS LACKING IN EVERYTHING BUT A BIG PRICE TAG. On September 9th, Destiny launched bringing the valuation of Activision Blizzard's stock, ATVI, to 23.73$ at its closing, close to an All-time high of 24.18$.
The past few days however, it seems investors are singing a different tune due to Destiny lukewarm reviews and disappointing sell-through - over 500 million $ worth of shipments were sent out to retailers - nonetheless only 325 million $ sold-through thus far effectively leaving 175 million $ worth of inventory on store shelves.
As such, ever since the launch of Destiny, the stock has now rapidly declined, losing over 10% of its valuation to where it stands currently 21.60$ ish - 1.5 billion $ erased from ATVI's market cap in just a few days.

This information is 10 months old bub. Give me more recent numbers. Stock prices change so quickly and for so many different reasons posting this 10 months later and acting like it is gospel for the current state of Activision/Blizzard/Bungie is the short sighted at best. Please do not use pass along others information if you do not have an understanding of what their information actually means.
-
Other products will cloud the figures now. Directly 1 month after destinys release this is what happened. Id loved to have seen those 175 million dollars worth of destiny games. Thats a big shed of discs.

Please do not defend 10 month old information being passed along like its gospel especially as it pertains to stock information and valuation of IP and companies it makes ppl like the OP feel like posting this information is valid. Stocks rise and fall quickly for many reasons and Destiny/Bungie has corrected course since the opening flubs that were vanilla Destiny. If you all don't like this game why do you continue to post in the forums. Move on already. I've bought many games that I eventually got tired of and moved on and never returned to the forums.

The truth hurts, huh?
-
Naw truthfully I just don't understand all the ppl complaining on the forums of a game they claim is so bad lol. I just think it's ridiculous to try and frame an argument with 10 month old information and trying to pass it off as up to date data. I find it even more ridiculous to post data and information that you couldn't explain to me properly.

Edited by s420srh: 8/2/2015 8:27:00 PMYou think their valuation is primarily, or from your post, solely on destiny... Smh

Just on about the month after destinys release.

Edited by Raining: 8/2/2015 8:19:59 PMWow, this post is riddled with numbers that aren't actually true or accurate.

Edited by VisageOfAnAngel: 8/2/2015 8:31:43 PMThe facts are publicly trade stock prices, genius. Information available on the exchange since Activision is an IPO.
