Buying the Taken King? Read this....

The Taken King should be changed to The King of Taken your Money. The DLC is overpriced at $40. It is not worth $40...Activi$ion....as we ALL well know...is disgusting when it comes to scamming people. Destiny is on its last leg with milking beyond belief since both Bungie and Activi$ion know that all the good games are coming out soon (SW Battlefront, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex, Doom, Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, Need for Speed 2015, etc.) This https://youtu.be/Ll3uipTO-4A is the King of Taken your 💰's theme song. Reduce the price at whats truly worth ($20) or you WILL lose sales Bungie and Activi$on........

 • This SAME thread was posted yesterday. You could've just necrobumped that instead. Once again:
"Remember these things: 1) Patches, updates, and Hot Fixes are things charged by both Microsoft and Sony. 2) Achievement support, voice acting, and the bells and whistles cost money to develop and ship. Now, the minor expansions are slated to have half the content of a major expansion, combine that with the previous tie-ins and the fact we don't know how Eurogamer & Gamespot's glowing hopes for the storytelling of TTKing hold up and double the price tag sounds reasonable. It's not DLC, it's an Expansion. DLC may include a map pack, or a chapter to a story. TTKing's campaign (story or no story) is supposedly going to be just smaller than D1's but with more involved from the Quests and from a storytelling standpoint (though while many news sources say their trial runs were promising the end result remains to be seen). If a player buys D1, the Expansion pass, TTKing, and Expansions 3 & 4 they're paying 7 USD per-month. Destiny isn't a true MMO, but it carries many of the same features including persistent changes and add-ins via patches, updates, etc. etc. as well as the occaisional Expansion. The difference is that instead of paying 15 USD per-month and not knowing what it's going to your purchase of an Expansion is what it is, and if you don't sub you're not completely locked out of the game to boot. So, are you going to support the developer of a game you've enjoyed for how long now? I'm not decided yet, waiting to hear more about TTKing's storytelling,The Dreadnaught's unique additions to Patrol, and Taken abilities. (Though I'm sold on the Foundries)
-My response from yesterday.
