No. The recent history of DeeJ saying peoe need to define their gear and that vault space isn't expanding.

And what if people define old gear as their gear?
-
Bungie won't care. Hasn't everyone figured that out yet? What does Bungie want? More hours played. How do they get it? By making people chase new gear. This is a loot based game. If there were no reason to chase loot, what would there be?
-
Or people could chase the items that let them ascend their gear...?
-
90% of my gear is ascended. Didn't take long. Either way, I don't think Bungie will be allowing much gear to ascend. They simply don't care what customers want, only on implementation of their vision to make moolah
-
So as an Xbox player, are you telling me you expect the playstation exclusives to be released to Xbox users and immediately become useless?
-
Yeah. Pretty much.
-
Well then, you are going to be pleasantly surprised the aren't you because even bungievision isn't stupid enough to think they could pull that one off
-
I don't care about your past experiences or your personal feelings. Bungie could make just as much moolah with ascension as without.
-
This ^^ Because at the end of the day once you have paid for the game, they make no more money from you until the next DLC. They don't make money based on how long you play
-
They could? Prove that

Edited by NOVA Perc: 8/2/2015 7:27:39 PMAnd what stat do you think they take to investors to show that this isn't a dead product? Oh. That's right. Hours played. That's the ONLY stat they've ever released. And if you are ascending the gear what's the point of spending money to develop new gear?

Edited by Demagogue: 8/2/2015 7:33:46 PMNumber of unique users? Preorder for the next DLC? To keep people playing with new content? Not reskins?
-
Boom. You nailed it exactly. To keep players using new content. DeeJ said it himself when pressed about Vault Space. He said "there are moments where we ask you to make tough decisions.” Hmmm. Doesn't sound too promising. What " tough decisions " is he talking about that coincides with Vault Space?
-
Edited by Demagogue: 8/2/2015 8:03:45 PMBut that's not what I said. That we will need to decide between our old gear and the new gear? If one was better than the other it wouldn't be a "tough decision", now would it?
