Exotic Ideas

[b]THANK YOU GUARDIANS!! With all of your help and ideas, I hit 1,000 comments! I will be working on a community based exotic in honor of this community effort![/b] [b]Exotic Ideas 2 Link[/b]: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/191970608/0/0 Primary: Assault rifle- No Other Choice "In dire situations, only one opinion is available" Perks are Focused Fire and Last Chance (Getting a kill at low health lowers the damage taken) Scout rifle- Sword and Shield "The strength of one comes from his defence" Perks are Extended Range, Armor piercing rounds, and a choice of Broaden the shield (3 consecutive kills grants an over shield) or Sharpen the sword (3 consecutive kills grants bonus damage) Hand cannon- Skill Unknown "Wielders became so skilled, it was a paradox" Perks are Final Round and Specialist (Hand loaded and Return to Sender) Special: Sniper- Doctor's Medicine "Headache? I can cure it" Perks are Return to Sender, Third Eye, Snapshot, and Doctor's Pill (Precision kills cause enemies to explode and returns health to player) Shotgun- Surprise "Slugs make a great gift" Perks are Hammer Forged, Light Weight, Slug Rounds (Extended Range and no spread) Fusion rifle- Time Flux "Time moves forward with your permission" Perks are More impact penalty to rate of fire, and Chrono's Revenge (One shot slows down enemies) Heavy: Rocket launcher- Poseidon's Wrath "A weapon worthy of a god" Perks are Javelin, Army of one, Trident (A rocket fired splits into three rockets and tracks different enemies) Machine gun- Hellfire "Who needs a rocket launcher, I can send one hundred explosions" Perks are Persistence, Surplus, Light them up (a random bullet is an explosive round that blinds nearby enemies) If you have any ideas, please leave them down below.     Here's two ideas of mine. [u][b][i]Ancient Blood[/i][/b][/u] Exotic Hand Cannon "I cut them. They bled. Dragon's bones yield the Dragon's blood." -Ultorus Clarent Exotic Perk: Make Them Bleed- Head-shots on an enemy of a species (I.E, Fallen, Vex, Etc) allows double damage on the same species until reload. Magazine of 13. [u][b][i]Bones of Proof[/i][/b][/u] Exotic Scout Rifle "Believe as you will, and I shall make it true, oh wielder mine..." Exotic Perk 1(Choice): Of All Existence- Body Shot Kills will have a chance to grant melee charge. Head Shot Kills have a chance to grant grenades. Or Exotic Perk 2(Choice): Of All Belief- Increased Heavy Ammo drops. Killing a major has a chance to add half of your current Super charge.

      [b][i]The Hanged Man[/i][/b] [i]"Let them feel your suffering." - Lord Shaxx[/i] Sniper Rifle RoF: Low Impact: Highest (similar to the black spindle with an improved RoF) Range/Stability: Medium Reload: Slow Magazine: - Exotic Perk: Concentrated Blast - Each shot consumes 1/8th of the guardians super, if there is not enough super, it consumes 55% of the guardians grenade/melee energy), if there is no super/grenade/melee, it consumes 50% of the guardians health. Row 1: Barrels (up for debate on which barrels would be appropriate) Row 2: Last resort Row 3: Lightweight/Snapshot/Flared Magwell Row 4: Lifeless (Provides a 10% chance to not consume any of the guardians energy)

      • Cosmic Drift Exotic Pulse Rifle, Kinetic [i]Just keep shooting[/i] High impact, high stability, medium RoF, medium range, medium reload, 27 mag Tier 0: Drift Barrage: While holding this weapon, sprint in any non-forward direction to boost strafe quickly over a small distance in that direction. Shots fired while strafing have additional accuracy and can be fired much more quickly Tier 1: Sureshot IS Red Dot OAS Focus Lens FLA5 Tier 2: Hip Fire +: increased accuracy and damage when firing from the hip or while strafing. Tier 3: Snapshot Lightweight Hand-Laid Stock Tier 4: Increased agility after strafing. Hold sprint to chain up to 5 strafes together for fast movement. Can now strafe in midair.

          how about a rock paper scissors kind of fusion rifle of elements. it's all 3 elements and has 3 in the mag. each time you shoot is a random element but the first shot has a 1/3 chance to be anything, the second shot has a 1/2 chance to be one of the other two and the final shot will always be the last one. or maybe even make it like the chaos enchantment in skyrim where the shot has a small chance to be 1, or 2, or 3 elements at the same time.

                  Medusa's Rage "Look your enemy in the eye. Show them fear, then death"" Hand cannon LRoF, high impact, medium stability, fast reload, and high recoil. Iron sights, Row 1 any barrel or whatever their called. Perk 1: luck in the chamber Row 2: perfect balance, mulligan, small bore Exotic perk: Medusa's Glare: two random bullets in the magazine slow the enemy (like a lot)and deal DoT Design could be like a more smooth and not so rigid thorn but made of stone with some cracks here and there [spoiler]#WriteMyExoticHistory [/spoiler]

                    Exotic fusion rifle [b]The Project[/b] [i]Prototype fusion rifle designed in the early golden age. Development was abandoned due to the inability to stabilize the weapons energy output[/i] [b]Solar[/b] [b]Visual[/b] Looks unfinished, mismatching parts, housing not complete. Is rather large, looks more like a shotgun. Says warning on side. [b]Stats[/b] Very low charge rate Small mag Crazy high range Huge impact [b]Perks[/b] [u]Mark I[/u] fires single shot laser, continuous beam for around three seconds [u]Mark II[/u]: Pressing trigger twice rapidly will cause the weapon to go into overdrive, Charge rate is maximized along with magazine being increased to 25. Each shot has a 50% chance of taking away 25% of your health.

Give him an ultimatum[/i] Void Stats are black spindles Mag - 3 Reserve - 0 Infuse The options - precision kills triple the damage of the next shot Armor piercing rounds, high caliber rounds, hammer forged The ultimatum - if both shots land precision kills the final round deals double damage (x18) Appearance - all black with skulls all over it. The weapon is all white with blacks dots all over it (like a dalmatian dog) and the scope is a snappy reflex-like scope with a little blue "X" made of bones (cartoonish bones) in the center the sound of it is a little bit lower and louder than the normal fusion rifles and at the end of the burst you can hear a thundering sound in distance. there is also electrical sparks comming out of the fusion core ( king of like thunderlord)

                              • Brumarstevor. Exotic Sword. Flavor Text. [i]Mine Iron Lord gave me this blade. The edge speaks to me more than he did[/i] Scabbard. Iron Shield: Hold ☎️ to block. Has a chance to to deflect bullets right back to the shooter. Brumarstevor: Hit ☎️ to quicky throw your sword and have it return quickly, (based on how far you threw it.) There Is chance to get this exotic quest from rank 3 and 5 iron banner packages. Can also drop from playing Iron Banner after rank five. It is basically the same exotic quest but all the crucible kills must be in the iron banner. And you must kill ultras with the sword, not majors.

                                    Something I've seen in a few other games, that could be interesting.........the ability to turn an enemy "berzerk", and make them start attacking each other. It would need to be something that procs semi rarely. Maybe an auto, or pulse rifle with 1 or 2 rounds per mag that would have to crit for it to happen. And of course only on lower level enemys......maybe a chance to proc on a yellow bar, only if 2 "berzerk" rounds crit within a second of each other. Or maybe with 2 rounds hitting crits a low level enemy gains an ability, like acolytes do in the raid when adepts are killed. Or could somehow be related to the "taken" effect.....somehow a bit of what allows oryx to take others is infused into the weapon & allows you to "take" an enemy to fight for & protect you for a short time.
