Mine did the opposite for a while. I had gotten a new ship, and I transferred it via the app prior to getting rid of the shine. Well the game thought I still had a shiny new ship, so the arrow on the first page was shining PERMANENTLY. I'd go to the bottom page. Nothing shining. Go back up. The arrow was still shining. This went on for months. Finally when HoW update dropped it reset it or something. It was ripe to drive me frickin insane.
