Do you report them for lagging? What if they use dial up and can't afford good internet?
Dial up users stand up for your rights!
We have over 1k replies. Wow so many dial up users and mega speed users with red bar regardless.
I feel honored to see multiple threads very similar to mine. Originality seems to be lagging as well now!
Holy guacamole!! We passed 1.2k replies. I think we have a dial up problem here!
That's it I'm done.... 1.3k replies. My internet is dying over here. Too much bandwidth being hogged by this app. Please stop replying and no bumps! Red
bar out⇒
Damn it someone necro-bumped this..🏁

I live on a lake and I get literally one internet provider out there, and I get max 2mb. But when I live at my apartment during the school season I get 15mb! Either way my internet always sucks.
-
Its an option on the report screen tho You can report someone for being friendly also
-
See I have great internet. I red bar when there is 1-2 other ppl red baring on the other team other than that I leave my internet and network settings alone
-
Jesus, you can't play this game in dial-up.
-
If it's a red bar nearly the whole match, I report bad connection. But this isn't what most people think. Bungie uses bad connection reports to group them with others of similar connections. This isn't a report of cheating, just letting bungie know that this connection isn't working for this match. Had one match yesterday on pantheon. Everyone but one guy was red bar or nearly red. It was a joke for everyone. A guy in my team was getting mad and calling them cheaters. I had to tell him that it was everybody, not just a single cheater. Sometimes it happens.
-
Depends if its a whole team or just a single player
-
I have a friend i play with every day and her internet is terrible. She literally has yellow or red bar for 25% of the night. Lives in the middle of nowhere and has Dish network internet. Not a hacker at all so no reporting.
-
I live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere and barely any internet providers reach and those that do are shit. There's nothing i can do :(
-
i only report that which does not die, a good example would be the guy who i shot and thought i killed....but then he killed me and did not die untill three of my team mates are emptying mags into him........
-
The report button for BAD CONNECTION is there for that reason. If you are playing destiny with dial up, your priorities might be wrong.
-
Red + super speed + immune to golden gun + full clip to kill + 5punches to put down = damn this kid needs reporting
-
I report laggers as bad connection Reporting lagswitchers as cheating and bad connection. Case closed
-
I don't report anything. It's just a game.
-
I'm sorry dial up?
-
I have bad connection, not because of pricing or anything but simply because hardly any internet providers reach my house
-
I report every red bar I see for bad connection. If you can't afford decent internet you have no business playing in PvP.
-
I live in a densely populated area so when I wanna play sometimes my connection is going to suck because 100 people on my block are probably streaming Netflix at peak times.
-
Both networks require broadband internet access...
-
-
Owns dialup yet spent 500$ to play destiny? Reported
-
Red bar doesn't always mean someone is cheating, 2 players and I were running PoE 35 and had to back out last week because all 3 of us were suffering low red bars. :( The lag was horrible, the Captains were almost un-killable.
-
Is dial up still a thing?
-
I'm personally going to try to stay away from ToO until I get better internet I currently have 1mbps it's just awful
-
I go off a pretty low internet speed but it's still a decent connection and yet people lag just as hard with better connections. Sometimes something happens with destiny servers and everyone in the game is red barring. Glad to see people in this post understand the struggle of having bad internet.
-
I report anyone as soon as I slice them 3 times with arc blade as they walk into a wall and suddenly they turn around and shotgun me.
-
I don't. I just assume they also have siblings/other people in the house using up their internet. #Destiny>Netflix
