Do you report them for lagging? What if they use dial up and can't afford good internet?
Dial up users stand up for your rights!
We have over 1k replies. Wow so many dial up users and mega speed users with red bar regardless.
I feel honored to see multiple threads very similar to mine. Originality seems to be lagging as well now!
Holy guacamole!! We passed 1.2k replies. I think we have a dial up problem here!
That's it I'm done.... 1.3k replies. My internet is dying over here. Too much bandwidth being hogged by this app. Please stop replying and no bumps! Red
bar out⇒
Damn it someone necro-bumped this..🏁

If people do that, they better be prepared to sometimes report everyone in the game and themselves.
-
Only if there in first place over the winning team and constantly kill me... God I'm one butt hurt guardian
-
Why the hell would I report people for that? I have above average net speed, and I get red bars pretty often, as do a lot of my friends. And even still, it doesn't mean it's your fault, it can just be the luck of the draw when it comes to Host.
-
I report red bar players only if they're in the top half AND obviously lagging everywhere. I also send them a message letting them know they're lagging all over the place
-
I stick a grenade to them and runaway. Eventually their console will get the message they have been killed. No sense in me risking myself for that. I don't have the Patience and Time to report people who lag.
-
Hey guys as someone who has occasional bad connection (due toconstruction nearby and frequent storms), I can tell you that lag isn't as beneficial as you think. Sure you can't necessarily kill me easily, but I can also put 3 rockets into you with no effect. Normally i have good connection, but when it dips I avoid crucible cause my weapons suddenly decide to shoot toilet paper.
-
Red bar = reported End of story. Bungie can sort the cheaters from the people with bad connecrions
-
Yes only if it's affecting gameplay
-
If you're consistently red bar, not just a quick blip while the game adjusts itself, you're getting reported. Sorry if you can't afford good internet, but maybe you shouldn't play online then.
-
Let the greasy neck beard basement dwellers report people with bad connections. They must know that people don't get banned for that. I mean think about it, no company is going to ban there source of income, idiots. And that just one of many arguments to be made
-
I only report when a lagging player uses it to his advantage. You can tell if someone is struggling with their Internet cheating
-
Report me all you want; I don't manipulate the network and bungle knows it.
-
Wow, does dial up actually load the game?
-
If I see someone with a red bar and I see them lagging everywhere and they're in first place then I report them instantly. Hell, if you start lagging I -blam!-ing report you anyways, get better connection.
-
If they are lagging and ruining my experience, yes. If they're not effecting it too much, then no.
-
I got ddosed... Any tips?
-
I would only report if it gives them an unfair advantage
-
No one cares about your rights. If you want to play pvp get better internet. If you don't get better internet then get off pvp or get banned.
-
What if it's just destiny servers?
-
If I snipe you in the head and it takes two seconds to register, I'll be reporting you.
-
Twice today in IB, a guy went into the match with green bar, but as soon as it started, he went red, and stayed red the entire match, no fluctuations. Thing is he would top leader boards with 25ish kills, several thousand points It was the same for two games back to back. I reported him for bad connection and left that lobby Question is, can you get so many kills if you are red bar the entire match while everyone else is green bar?
-
The red bar is a lie i swear. I've red barred on a 100mb download 20mb upload speeds It's ridiculous Local hosts my ass
-
Edited by Sanctus Michael: 8/1/2015 12:31:00 AMNo, I don't. I get red bars, then a few minutes through the match it turns green. If I get into an IB or PvP match and the whole team is red, including me, I quit and go into another match and I'm green again. As far as dial up... like... that was the early 90s. Can anyone dial up anymore? Is it even possible through communication providers? And who uses Lan phone lines anymore? Cell plans are so generous why bother. I haven't used a Lan line in my apartment or home since 2001
-
Generally wait and see for how their connection actually affects the game. If I shoot them with a whole clip of my messenger and they just come and shotgun me in the back, you get reported. For bad connection and cheating. There is a difference between bad connection and cheating though.
-
Yes, report them for bad connection. It ruins it for other gamers
-
Lol should be banned for using dial up to play multiplayer games you're a real ahole if you do
