Your weirdest Misadventure?
Just a few minutes ago I was playing Iron Banner. I jumped into the air, shot a guy with my shotgun, and immediately flew backwards into a wall and died...he did not die.
It would of actually been funny however, I was on a 8 kill streak when it happened.
What are some of the weirdest Misadventures that have happened to you?

Got flung 300 feet into the air by an Arc Blade

Was trying to make orbs from the knights at the end of Crota and nova bombed the shit out of a column in front of me, killing myself. It was quite embarrassing. I didn't even know you could do that!

I was lagging in crucible (server connection issue) & the door ahead of me was closed but a teammate ran through it so I attempted the same, the second I touched the door (which appeared closed but I think was actually open) vanished & I fell through the map.

Punching a glowey rod in the archive mission....I apparently did [i][b]NOT[/b][/i] learn my lesson from halo 2 and glowing objects that explode

Was playing control, was running and attempted to jump over someone. They apparently punched me, I went flying into the wall and died by slamming into it. My gun was lodged into the wall as well

I died from Misadventure. I have no idea what happened... Edit: I think there was an invisible barrier above him. He came down abnormally fast, but I still got treated like a Goomba. He freaking Goomba stomped me.

Multiple times my friend has launched me into walls at Mach-10 because of trying to punch an enemy in front of me, while he's standing behind me. Since meleeing does a sort of lunge, it would always launch me into walls and kill me. Also, launched off cliff by Warsat isn't strange, but it's awesome.

Today on the psion flayers I just jumped down some stairs and somehow they slung me across the room and died

So I was playing undying mind when the portal at the end of the boss fight room moved to the middle of the room and just hovered there it proceeded to spew out goblins and hobgoblins at 20 per fcking second then the undying mind shot at me I jumped up and landed glancing off of the side of the square shaped rocks and it launched me to the other side of the room where I hit the undying mind then died and 2 minutes later error code beetle

Melee'd a guy at the same time he meele'd me on twilight gap I then shot across the map at break neck speeds idk what you guys are talking about the view was absolutely breath taking I was so far away from the actual map it looked like a small area then I died by an invisible barrier..

You know how you slide down that wall at the end of the saber strike? Well, I jumped while sliding down and it flew me across the room, slamming into the wall and dying.

1 ReplyThis weeks nightfall against Valus Tauruc (sp?) I did it solo and at the boss fight I jumped under the stairs at the start and landed on the little step under the stairs and died from misadventure. I had full health and was like wtf killed me?

1 ReplyWas doing the first part of kings fall, and right when I dunked the relic it shot me into the ceiling and I died. And of course I was goofing off with friends on the dreadnought, I was by the door to the next area at the breach. My friend killed a phalanx with suncharge by the far engine, and it launched the shield across the room and it killed me.

1 ReplyI walked towards a hallway with my random teammates. For some reason, all of us were going into the same tunnel (thieves den). We all spontaneous explode, the feed was filled with "x is down". No kill credit, no explanation.

When destiny first came out i ran sunsinger with solar wind melee and ran into another one in crucible and we bitch slapped each other at the exact same time and launched each other across the map and both died xD

1 ReplyA while ago I was playing on the burning shrine map in trials. I jumped up in the air, and the enemy blinked directly underneath me while I was above him! The force from his head impacting with my legs at the exact perfect timing threw my guardian into the ceiling at about 500 mph...I died from a broken neck. And one more just for fun! I was running kings fall heroic yesterday, and I ran the relic on oryx. During the no knight strategy, I always hop up on the platform and jump to my team at the deathsingers platform in the middle. Our timing got thrown off somehow, and as soon as I went to hop to the deathsinger platform, oryx's fist smashed me with perfect timing! I got launched so far off the map that it tried to rejoin me with my team! xD

I got jumped by two stealth vandals on the silent fang... I was low on health. I had set off two tripmines a few meters back and they blew the vandals up...
