I have played Halo ever since I was seven years old, and I am proud to say that the franchise was a major part of my childhood. While I do understand how cumulatively, the price is ridiculous. However, I think it isn't too bad if someone, such as myself, is upgrading to a next-gen console so the $40 - $80, depending on what version you get, for The Taken King. Coupled with the fact I had no access to the "DLC" on my Xbox 360, I don't think it's too bad, but obviously a majority of players are buying this for their current console.
