Isn't that what entails as a sniper, to camp? Usually it does, covering an area at a longer range for a period of time. It's ideal to have at least 2 snipers in the back cover control points or areas that see heavy traffic while the rest of the team goes in at short to medium range. It's also nice to have call outs from those snipers as they see more of an area (usually). Sometimes it's hard though seeing as 95% of maps are close quarters.
