The fact that people can play a video game and make money doing it, or that any one gives a flying fu## about their own, or anyone else's, video game abilities or statistics, is proof positive that our society is doomed. #sad

No, what's sad is that people have been paying to watch other people play a game for as long as humans have had games, and that some people just haven't made that correlation yet.

People pay for entertainment. Basketball is just playing a game and getting paid for it. Many people pay to watch it because they enjoy it. People get paid to play games. Doesn't mean it should only include the ones you personally enjoy.
