Depends what you mean by beer. If it's that bitch piss you get in the states like bud and Miller then no, if it's a nice strong European lager or British ale then yes.

Anyone that says American beer is crap has never tried any craft beer. The THOUSANDS of craft breweries in the states are making some of the best beers in the world, of all styles. If you think all American beer is Budweiser and Coors you are greatly mistaken.
