HoW and TDB both looked pretty cool when all the hype trailers were released. If you don't think TTK will disappoint you are sadly mistaken. Bungie doesn't care about anything other than selling the next DLC and hyping that up. Why do you think we aren't getting the weapon balancing patch until TTK? To make the DLC seem so much better than it is. Unless Bungie completely changes a lot of Destiny's core issues than this game will continue to disappoint.
It is frustrating because this game has so much potential but it continues to get destroyed because of Bungievision's greed.

I'm sure TTK will disappoint no matter how much content it includes, just because this community is so incredibly negative that even if the expansion is amazing people will still act as if Bungie came and sole money directly from their wallets. The expansion MAY end up being awful for the exact reasons you've mentioned, but my point was that we already know what xxfalconxx16 said isn't true. We already know that this expansion will be very different than the previous two, if for no other reason than it includes more substantially more content.

I agree that a lot of the people in this community have a "doom and gloom" mindset about everything Bungie does with Destiny. People don't understand compromise and assume something has to be either black or white. The weapon balancing patch shows that Bungie is working towards achieving that grey area which gives me a lot of hope. However, you cannot say the hate isn't warranted. Just take a look at that pre-release ViDoc that included the developer telling us we could explore all of the open areas. That was a blatant lie unless they consider the 4 second window before you die as "exploring". The one issue I have with Bungie's TTK marketing is trying to say that it has as much content as a full game. It is my understanding that we are only getting 1 new patrol area. (Phobos doesn't count if there isn't any patrol area) I hope Bungie hits this one out of the park but the player's must be weary of what Bungie has done in the past. Those that don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
