Isn't all life capable of making its own perception of time, regardless of other's perception? Just because someone else thinks differently, does that make either of them wrong?
We should travel the world and help people with our awesomeness hahahaha :)
• If something perceives time and it is different from another being, are either of them wrong? Could time take multiple forms depending on the ability of the being to comprehend it? How would these two being interact if there ability to perceive time differs?
We should also write a book about are philosophy of time. Haha.
• Wouldn't you agree there are an infinite number of comprehensions of time? Would they not be able to understand the other's perception, given they both are of the same species and the same general intelligence?
How should we begin our book? Should the book be humorous, and should we use it to spread our awesomeness to people around the world?
• Does every member of a species comprehend time the same way. Would it be possible for a being to change there comprehension of time or are they born knowing that idea only. What would have to happen for them to change their understanding, or do you believe they can do it on their own?
We should make the book somewhat serious, but add lots of jokes that go right over the average person's head so only people that are awesome enough will want to read it.
• Isn't one born with a multitude of knowledge, but knowledge that is susceptible to change? Do you not believe that beings can alter their preconceptions of an idea and accept someone else's ideas to consider?
I like it, I like it. Should we put other philosophical ideas in there? What kind of jokes should we make?
• Don't you think that there are certain aspects of life that do not change throughout the existence of that organism? I believe the comprehension of time passing is one of these aspects. How would the mind be able to understand if the laws of time were to suddenly change? Would it also change, or would it completely reject this idea for the old way in which time was understood?
We could put in other philosophies, along with that conversation about last night. People can learn from that! As for jokes I don't know, I was hoping you had ideas.
• Would the organism not know by instinct that time had somehow changed and became different? Is one not aware of aging slower when traveling at the speed of light? For most, I believe they would reject the new philosophy or structure, but do you not think there would be creatures such as ourselves that could comprehend the change and accept it?
Honestly why don't I know you in real life? If we are going to talk about last night, how should we approach that? I'll try to think of jokes for our book ;)
Would the organism subconsciously notice the difference but the brain would not be able to comprehend the change? Instead of consciously knowing would the organism's mind try to adapt to the change in environment. If a being were able to understand the changes what would they think? Would their whole life have to change in order to cope with the distortion of time?
Really I don't know why we don't. Maybe we should just reword the entire 'last night' conversation to put in the book.
• Isn't the whole idea of this that organisms could maintain their lives because they subconsciously realized a change, and did not actually experience it, just as humans know the Earth spins, but do not feel it do so? Wouldn't all organisms try to adapt to the new environment change, or risk death? Would the beings be surprised by such a massive change in such an elementary part of their lives? Would they not have to adapt to the distortion of time by simply understanding the change and effectively accepting it, and then effectively finding ways in which to cope with it?
What did you mean when you said Really I don't know why we don't, you mean why we don't know each other in real life? How would you want to re-word the last night conversation, would you want to make it hotter or more casual? Sorry this took so long, didn't even show up on notifications, and sorry this reply is massive, hahahaha
• Organisms might subconsciously know of the change, but will they actually feel the change or even make a thought about the change. The only reason humans know the earth spins is because did further tests on it. Other organisms might not know the earth spins, or if time fluctuated, or even if the earth is round. Do these organisms even know more than what is in there own ecosystem? Do they have some form of intelligence that we do not know of that could allow them to sense changes outside their environment?
I meant why don't we know each other. As to rewording, make it hotter and definitely take out the part about the cat. Don't want that being published. ;)
• Haha, ok we should resume. Maybe we should branch of our philosophy to other parts of science. Right now it seems like we are getting into the biology of organisms.

  • OK, let's keep talking on the other part of the thread though, the one I just posted on. That way we don't branch off into two conversations and reduce our focus to each one.

  • Hey, you are on the East Coast aren't you? I was hoping we would be able to talk at good hours, and not have to catch each other right as we go to sleep and wake up, and it seems as though that won't be a problem.
I thought about you today ;) Did you think about me or our book at all? (hahahahaha)
• How could we make it hotter and philosophical? What kind of moves and situations do you think would lend itself to making it sexier, and how do you think we could be philosophical about it?
Going to sleep, you can respond and I will respond in the morning here ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
• I don't know, do you have any ideas? I guess we have a lot of time to think about it though. Maybe we can try to discuss the meaning of life in it or something.

Do you want me to hold anything back, or go really far in to cover all the details (like last night, hahaha)? Perhaps we could use it to show nothing stops something as powerful as love?
Added this spoiler. Do you mind if I ask how old you are? If you don't feel comfortable sharing, you can just say kid, teenager, or adult. I'm a teenager, 17 ;)
• We might need to hold some things back. We don't want everyone knowing everything about it. Also lots of thing can stop the power of love. Money for instance. Haha jk
I don't mind you asking. I'm 16 ;)
Can money truly get in the way of love? Are there not a multitude of stories where two who love each other overcome social divides and join? In some instances, money is used (not really well) as a highway to earn love, such as arranged marriages where a dowry is required, or I guess when it comes to hookers, right? And in the case of the book, why don't you start with at least a general idea and we can build upon it, philosophical or...not ;) ?
Cool, so not very far away from me :) I would have been OK if you were older than me, but I think I would have been a little mortified if you were 12 hahaha. I also just noticed the jk, but we are going to pretend that you didn't put that for at least this post, don't want to rewrite all this :)
Don't you think that there are some people in the world that money can get in the way of love for them? There are stories were people don't care about money but do you really think it can happen? Saying something like that is like saying that 'time doesn't exist because I can't see it.' As for the book, I think the premise of it should be our philosophical interpretation of time and space. We could add more of our theories in it if we come up with some. Maybe add some humor in it too.
My secret is that I actually am only 8.

Don't worry I'm just kidding. :)
