Simple question. If TTK turns out to be overhyped will you leave?
EDIT: Why would I leave if TTK is a disappointment? Because this is the last chance and last straw. I've given bungie to many chances, and too much money. This DLC is gonna be the most expensive and if I get an overhyped Piece of horse shit again then I'm done.
To be honest though, bungie has Greatly improved the game since the TDB disaster. So I highly doubt they'll ruin this DLC.

Depends on what you define as a failure

No, not really, I play other games anyway, so when I get bored of destiny I play them.

So far it doesn't look interesting from a content standpoint. All the new guns from the update look very much the same and too simplified clean looking. The main reason to keep playing is gun balance, new subclasses, and for a new raid.

Im excited for the launch, and even though i own a thorn its getting boring using it so i try other weapons, (Auto Rifle, No land Beyond, Etc) its boring seeing more thorns every match so im glad about the weapon balance

It's shaping up good but I'll wait a week or two for reviews.

Edited by Dead General X: 7/25/2015 12:53:06 PMToo much new gear to collect along with the last expansion raid, still missing Swordbreaker (shockingly enough as everyone else gets it), Light of the Abyss, and mainly really just want the Crux. Also Corrective Measure from the Vault of Glass, and holy shit, the new raid armor and raid weapons coming up...can't wait for that the most

Depends.

I really like this game. Mostly for the gun physics. It's the best feeling shooter I've ever played. Plus, it's a social thing for me and a good friend of mine who lives an hour away and we can't just go out after work since we both have kids. Not sure if I will leave. Tdb I thought was a very cool expansion, but was very disappointed in the lack of content for the how expansion. I'm hoping ttk is better than how, and it looks like it may be.

Probably not. I play for a while than move on and come back again so It's not like Destiny is all I have anyway. I'll give them Destiny 2 to get things going. That will definitely be enough time and feedback for them to understand what is wanted. If nothing changes by then, I will probably be done though.

Yeah I might. I'm really looking forward to Rift, but if it's a laggy mess I might be done. That said, TTK will be pretty sweet man. It's huge.
-
I'll be taking breaks here and there but no if TTK is mediocre that in and of itself will not make me avoid any future releases. I'll play as long as I'm interested and having fun. I'm looking forward to playing with my son a few years down the line.
