Simple question. If TTK turns out to be overhyped will you leave?
EDIT: Why would I leave if TTK is a disappointment? Because this is the last chance and last straw. I've given bungie to many chances, and too much money. This DLC is gonna be the most expensive and if I get an overhyped Piece of horse shit again then I'm done.
To be honest though, bungie has Greatly improved the game since the TDB disaster. So I highly doubt they'll ruin this DLC.

Honestly I'm waiting for the reviews first....if it doesnt turn out to be good or even make me want to play it just by looking at gameplay, then i wont buy it and just wait for Destiny 2 while i play other games. There is a lot of games coming out in the fall, so its not like I'll have nothing else to turn to for entertainment. P.S. Need more vault space....im not deleting my old raid gear or trials gear (unless its replaced by a new one like IB has been each DLC)

What if Destiny already failed for you?
-
Already left

Already did. Best choice I made in months.

Waiting for reviews. I wish I hadnt bought the season pass like an idiot, just assuming the DLC would be good. HoW was the biggest waste of cash lol, I pretty much hated it after only 10-15 PoE runs, and one trials weekend (success). I may be already done with this game, as $40 is a lot of money for a DLC and bungie doesnt have the best credibility right now. They havent released much info, but I think theres only one new patrol area? Thats pretty sad, Ive already spent countless hours on the current patrol areas, and would end up playing only on the new one. Id be bored so fast. They havent said anything beyond one raid, which is completely disappointing since HoW didnt have a raid or anything even similar. New crucible maps? Better be bigger, im sick of every map being so clustered. TL;DR: TDB wasnt great, and HoW straight sucked. TTK must prove worthy of $40 before any cash comes from me.

No more vault space, no reasons to stay.

Edited by Famdian: 7/25/2015 6:28:46 PMI'm waiting for a few weeks after ttk release to see if it's for me. If it's not then I will have no reason to play, I have little desire to replay the current content much more. Great game though .

Not getting it at all my friend
-
I doubt I'm even getting TTK so I sure as hell don't think I'll play anymore if TTK sucks
-
I am still not sure if I am buying TTK yet.
-
Its gonna fail. They dont know what the hell they're doin anyway
-
HoW already killed it for me! i played the 1st few days of HoW n i've put in maybe 2 hours since! such a let down of a game
-
TTK has already failed.
-
Not buying TTK, just playing Destiny until some of the better games I like come out in a few months.
-
On the fence as to whether I'll even buy TTK, and leaning toward not.
-
Probably take a break and enjoy the other awesome games coming out like Battlefront.
-
I wanna say I'll leave but tbh I'll most likely take a break and come back for a while then another break
-
Honestly, House of Wolves was a bit of a bigger disappointment to me than The Dark Below. Prison of Elder's got old faster than Strikes and both times I attempted ToO with clan mates one got lagged out by someone on the other team (and I've seen and heard of worse). I give everything 3 strikes, and Destiny is now on it's second. If The Taken King doesn't deliver, then it will be my final purchase for Destiny.

I'll leave if Halo 5 is better, because I think that will be the only shooter game that will be more entertaining. (Only if Halo 5 is better)
-
Black ops 3 will take me away
-
I think I am just going to start waiting the mandatory year to get all the content at a seriously discounted price don't really care to spend more than 100 dollars on a game that the story lasts 5 hours the only reason I keep playing is exotics I love getting more and get mad when I don't so basically meth.

Edited by Redlinesi10: 7/26/2015 1:10:14 AMLots of competition coming for the holiday season, great looking games too. Want justification for what my $40 is buying Unfortunately for myself and others, i presume most will buy it because a vast majority of us are so invested already, we can't collectively go "ok I'm done,I'll sit on the sidelines now" Just a thought

Edited by Hippo_Legacy: 7/26/2015 1:08:59 AMYes, from the beginning I've been saying the 3rd DLC will be my true measure. We all know what happened with the Destiny launch and I don't think there's any denying that DLC's 1 and 2 were supposed to be a part of the original game. Also they've now had a year of player feedback as well as a year to find somebody to write a cohesive story. Also I think they've made great strides in improving the game so far. This DLC should show us Destiny's true potential, or it'll show us that Bungie has bitten off more than they can chew.
