DIY Exotics!

Hey Guys, welcome to DIY Exotics! I made this post so I could see the creativity the community had to offer! Whether it's a amazing piece of armor, or a badass gun, We wanna see it! I also want to see exotic bounties! I'd like to see what the community thinks the exotic bounty division needs to add! My Exotic Ideas --------------------------------------------------- "The Black Hand" Exotic Hand Cannon "This is the embodiment of flame, the eternal fire, the scorched earth" - Toland, The Shattered Design: The color scheme is a black and red diesel-punk style with three barrels. The sights on the weapon are holographic with the sight itself being a deep crimson red and a bladed triangle. The muzzle of the gun are releasing blue flames. Stats: Fire Rate: 4/10 Stability: 9.5/10 Reload: 7/10 Impact: 6.5/10 Range: 6/10 Clip: 3 Element: Solar Basic Tier: Solar - This Weapon Does Solar Damage Tier 1: Field Choke/Aggressive Ballistics/CQB Ballistics Tier 2: Cascade Upgrade Damage Tier 3: Flared Magwell, Field Scout (3 Rounds To 7), Range Finder Exotic Upgrade: Hellfire Rounds - All shots fired will explode on impact and do splash damage and have a small chance to ignite enemies. Precision kills leave behind a pool of magma that causes severe DoT when walked upon. --------------------------------------------------- "Cycle of Existence" Exotic Machine Gun "This is not the beginning of the end, but rather, the end of beginning" - The Speaker Design: This Weapons main material is wood, representing Yggdrasil (A.K.A The World Tree) from Norse mythology. The sights on this weapon are extremely slim, but thick enough to accurately target enemies. The remaining material is iron. It has a long barrel extending out, and at the end of the muzzle is a leaf. Most of the visuals on the gun have moss-like growths protruding from small fissures. Stats: Fire Rate: 7.5/10 Stability: 5/10 Reload: 10/10 Impact: 4/10 Range: 6.5/10 Clip: 60 Basic Tier: Kinetic - This Weapon Does Kinetic Damage, All Seeing Eye - This Weapon Can Change sights Tier 1: Branching - +5 Reload +10 Stability -5 Impact, Budding - +10 Impact -10 Reload -5 Stability, Flowering - +10 To All Attributes Tier 2: The Cycle Continues - The Longer The Weapon is Fired, The More Accurate and powerful it grows Upgrade Damage Tier 3: Adjustable Stock, Send It, Hammer Forged Exotic Upgrade: The Cycle Is Broken - Every Reload Has A Chance To Add A random Element To The Magazine (Void, Solar, Arc) ------------------------------------------------ "The Light's Bane" Exotic Warlock Gauntlets "THE LIGHT SHALL BE CONSUMED AND SLAIN" - Unknown Design: Slightly Similar To The Sunbreakers, except with a different color palette and effect. While equipped they give your arm a void particle effect, while your hand is coated with with a pure black essence, forming a claw. Upgrades: Primary Weapon Loader Upgrade Defence Light Of The Night - Generate orbs of DARKNESS instead of orbs of light. Picking up an orb of darkness gives you MUCH more super energy, but has a small chance to completely drain your super meter. Snap Discharge ------------------------------------------------ "Enemy of the State" Exotic Shotgun Design: The Weapon has an old timey design that resembles something from WWI, it had a slightly extended barrel, and also has a muzzle break. There is literally no indication of sights as it is meant to be hip-fired. The color scheme is a metallic gray. Stats: Fire Rate: 3/10 Range: 2.5/10 Stability: 5.5/10 Reload: 4/10 Impact: 8.5/10 Clip: 7 Tier 1: Kinetic - This weapon does kinetic damage First Upgrade: Relentless: Every missed shot adds +10 to the range, stacks up to 3 times and lasts a short time Upgrade Damage Tier 2: Lightweight, Speed Reload, Perfect Balance Exotic Upgrade: Silent Assassin - The First two shots of this weapon are completely silent, and you cannot appear on someone's minimap until the first shot is fired. In PvE, enemies will not be alerted to gunshots. --------------------------------------------------- "Peek-A-Boo Sleeves" Exotic Hunter Gauntlets "To Blink in a firefight will cost you your life, but when you have these... It's a different story" Design: Color Scheme is reminiscent of Red Death, with its metallic gray and blood stains on the end. After blinking using the BladeDancer subclass upgrade, they shine brightly Upgrades: Heavy ammo Fast hands: Small increases to reload speed and weapon handing Peek-A-Boo: Using Blink in A Near Death Situation will cause you to go invisible. Blink Strike Damage Is Also Increased --------------------------------------------------- "Ribcage of Dying Ahamkara" Exotic Titan Chestpiece The greatest asset is the soul, oh bearer mine. Allow me to protect your heart" Design: Similar to all the other Ahamkara pieces, but with a ribcage instead. The bones are cracked and some bits are missing. Upgrades: Rain Blows Infusion Roar of Resurrection: Using Fist of Havoc on top of or near fallen allies revives them and provides a shield. Spawn more orbs --------------------------------------------------- "The Art of War" Exotic Future War Cult Scout Rifle "A Replica of the weapon used by the founder of the Future War Cult. Presented only to those who have conquered" Design: Symbols In Deep Purple Cover The Weapons Light Violet Paint Job. The Muzzle is modified so that the muzzle flash glows purple when shot. The sight is triangular and the reticle is animated with a blue flame Stats: Fire Rate: 6.4 Impact: 6.5 Reload: 4.9 Stability: 5 Range: 8.2 Clip: 11 Upgrades: Void First Upgrade: Full Auto Tier 2: Single Point Sling, Vented Cooling - Faster Fire Rate, Armor Piercing Rounds Exotic upgrade: The Art Of War - The Longer This Weapon Is Fired, The Slower It shoots and does more damage and gains stability and accuracy. ------------------------------------------------ "Flight To The Heavens" Exotic Dead Orbit Pulse Rifle "The Rifle The Fired The First Shots That Started The War On Venus. Given Only To Those Who Have Reclaimed" Design: A Modified SUROS Pulse Rifle Frame is the basis for the weapon. The buttstock has lights shining forward toward the muzzle. The muzzle has six large metal attachment the glow white when the weapon is fired. Stats: Impact: 8.6 Range: 10 Stability: 3 Reload: 5.5 Fire Rate: 4.5 Clip: 36 Upgrades: Arc To The Stars: Increases jump height and duration of special jump First Upgrade: Zen Moment Tier 2: Explosive Rounds, Hammer Forged, Lightweight Exotic Upgrade: Lightspeed Jump - A Fourth Round is Fired and precision kills chains lightning to a nearby and will continue indefinitely if each bolt lands a kill ----------------------------------------------- Traveler's Gift Exotic Titan Helm "In its dying breath, the Traveler Created The Ghosts" Design: Made from pieces of dead Ghosts, and also has a faint flicker Upgrades: Inverse Shadow Infusion Dying Breath: Upon Death Generate Orbs Of Light. Allies that pick up these orbs will obtain super energy and the Weapons of Light Buff. ----------------------------------------------- "Certain Chaos" Exotic Fusion Rifle "Killing the enemy is not enough. The act of violence must become self sustaining." Design: This weapon has a large and bulky frame, similar to cabal slug rifles. The color scheme is a greenish-black mix and a large battery is on the side. The battery sparks when charging. The sights are nice and open with a 3D hologram as the reticle. Stats: Impact: 5.7 Range: 7.9 Charge Time: 2.5 Reload: 4.1 Stability: 10 Clip: 4 Upgrades: Starting: Arc Muzzle Attachments: Soft Ballistics/Field Choke/Zap Insulators - More impact and faster reload speed, massive penalty to stability and range First Upgrade: Tier 2 Upgrades: Enhanced Battery/Snapshot/Charge Pulse - More charge time, More Impact Exotic Perk: Tesla Coils - Any enemy that is not killed by this weapon after 3 shots has the chance to continuously shock nearby enemies --------------------------------------------------- "Emperor's Will" Exotic New Monarchy Hand Cannon "The weapon granted to the most loyal and most dedicated supporters of the Monarchy. Handed down to those who have Expanded." Design: A modified MOS Gannon hand cannon is used as the base model. The barrel length increases and decreases depending on which muzzle attachment you have chosen. On the left side a hologram of the New Monarchy triangle glows in a deep shade of red. Reticle for the sight is the crown of New monarchy. Stats: Fire Rate: 4.5 Impact: 6.8 Range: 5 Stability: 6 Reload:4.1 Clip: 8 Upgrades: Soft Ballistics/Smooth Ballistics/CQB Ballistics First Perk: Firefly Lightweight/Perfect Balance/Mass Production - Greatly Increased Fire Rate and Reload Speed, Reduced Impact and Range Exotic Perk: Kings Guard - Kills with this weapon increase armor by 1, stacks up to 3 times. Lasts a short time

  • - Selling of weapon parts with the vanguard quartermaster, crucible quartermaster, or both. - Selling of armor materials (hadronic essence, sapphire wire, plasteel plating) with the vanguard quartermaster, crucible quartermaster or both. - Raise glimmer cap (50,000 or more). - All enemies (fallen, hive, vex, cabal) drop glimmer depending on how they are classified (dregs x1, shanks 5x, vandals x10, captains x15). Majors, regardless of classification will drop 25 glimmer. - More vault space (20 more in armor, weapons, general). - Make separate weapon buffs and/or nerfs for pve and pvp. - Expand exotic weapons, class items and armor quantities by making bounties and side missions specific to each faction (Future War Cult, New Monarchy, Dead Orbit). - More shaders to buy with Lavante. Sell all faction shaders and ships within each faction. Specific sparrows per faction. - Allow to paint sparrows, weapons and individual armor parts with shaders. - Allow to paint ghost with shaders as well. Ghost should do more that just open doors and be a flashlight. - Transmogrification. - First person view with sparrow (optional with a press of a button). - Add abilities to all types of class items. - When doing a patrol mission, add factions points to the faction of that specific patrol, regardless of the class item equipped. - Option to select a starting point when selecting patrol missions. - Designate specific crucible weapons (non rare, legendary, exotic) for regular crucible ( excluding Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris) to avoid bias to specific weapons. - Allow to select perks when performing reforging of weapons. - Matchmaking for Prison of Elders, since its not a raid. - When using a ammo synthesis, the cooldown will not affect the other ammo synthesis types (i.e. using a special ammo synthesis and having to wait 5 minutes to use a heavy ammo synthesis). - Range area in the tower or reef where players can test weapon perks before going on missions. - Experience bar on bottom of screen to see light level progress (like it was before reaching lvl 20). - Allow a grimoire section on the menu to read grimoire card in the game, instead of using the app or browser. I know this is my own personal wishlist, but i dont think some of these changes should be too hard to implement.
