This is just a little change up of the forums due to the whole weapon tuning thing.
Now I don't mean for this to break out into arguments ok guys I'm just generally curious as to how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
Me personally I look at grimoire score, only because it shows how dedicated someone is to completely maxing out the game.
But like I said no arguments, hey you might even learn something and improve your character so it impresses other people without even playing with them.
Edit 1: my bad for not explaining myself about the grimoire. I won't disallow anyone into my raid team, Poe team etc if their grimoire score is low however I will change my playstyle to be more serious. For example if a level 34 is in my raid team and they have 1000 grimoire score then I will change my playstyle to be more serious and more descriptive in my actions due to the fact they have not done said raid before. My bad for not explain that sorry.
Edit 2: I'm so glad with the outcome of this post. Almost no arguments and people talking nice to each other and giving their constructive feedback based on their "judgment system" it's been lovely reading all of your replies and even engaging in conversations with some of you. Nice to see we still have a lovely polite community of guardians after the whole ordeal lately, this will be my last edit for this post guys but I hope to see you all in the battlefield some day guardians :) happy killing

I'm not here to judge

Why should we judge?

Weiner size

For me the only criteria I have is not being more then one level under content, having a mic and speaking enough English to communicate.
-
Ability to listen to directions Your skill level doesn't matter What you say doesn't matter If you cannot handle minor tasks during a raid fuck yourself

Try not judging. Grimore is misleading. Maybe they do not care about unlocking every card, finding dead ghosts, playing every pvp mode. Maybe they favor one character and certain weapon types and never got enough kills to unlock bonuses.
-
Grimoire. Skill in crucible. Play time.

When I conduct my player inspection using the iOS app check lists is Do they have one of each class? Are they light level 30 or above? Have they complete Laurea Prima? What kind of weapons do they have? Are they exotic, raid or legendary weapons? Are the weapons 365 class? Is their Grimoire score higher than 3000? Based on the above I would rate the author of this post a top tier Sensei player. Bowing respectfully.

Level first, weapons equipped and grimoire. Atm I'm only selective for trials really. Be lvl 34 and understand under current meta that you will face many thorns. I totally sherpa anyone btw! Crota or VoG. Just be a good listener! I play on ps3 and I'll be playing on my ps4 once I get it fixed

I don't.

When I'm not on website and I'm on the game, I judge by grimoire and weapons. (Even after weapon tuning)
-
When I invite people to trials and they have poe gear with all strength they get booted and removed. I always judge by the load out they have. Intellect & discipline is the way to go.

Before I game I look at my opponent and judge everything. Weapon choices, exotic choices, subclass perk choices, stat distribution, grimoire etc. People may say you can't judge skill based on things like grimoire or weapon choices but if you combine everything then I almost always know how good someone is.
