Destiny Taken King - Devil in the details
I'm curious if anyone else picked up on where they used the phrase "most substantial" in the details about The Taken King.

2 RepliesI gotta say, your reading comprehension is terrible. When bungie says "the most substantial injection of weapons" they mean this is the biggest injection of weapons and gear yet. Meaning this is more weapons and gear than what all other expansions had to offer. It's not saying it's the most substantial thing in TTK. Nowhere does it say it's the most substantial thing in TTK, it's talking about comparing it to previous influxes of weapons and gear. Also, your thing about them bullet pointing cutscenes is ridiculous. What does it matter if it's the 2nd point or the 15th point? Previous DLC's didn't have cutscenes so they are reassuring that there will be this time. I'm not even trying to defend bungie here or be a desticle, but dude that is some terrible insight you have there.

Before Destiny, if you were excited about a game and it ended being a let down...you just didn't play it. Why does everybody still expect this game to change? It's a money grab, and it's always going to be a money grab so long as people keep throwing their money at the screen.

1 ReplyCool video. IMO, they use this sentence because they can't show anything yet, and have to describe the amount without telling the exact amount. It is hard for them to tell exactly what you will get in the expansion (how many exotics, strikes and so on) because they are working on it. They are showing new weapons in tomorrow's weekly update. (from what I've heard) Let's wait and see. I bet everything will be more clear in 1-2 months before the release of the expansion. Don't worry.
