I never believed Bungie would comment on this. They rarely comment on anything. The 2.0 nerfs were intended to make our current arsenal less appealing when compared to the new TTK gear. This will then cause us to care less about wanting to ascend old gear since it's weaker than the new stuff. I have no proof of this, but this is how it seems to me. Thanks for the bumps.
