I'm about 600 hours in this game and have a lot of great stuff (Celestial Nighthawk, Ram, Many Exotic weapons, etc.), but there is a HUGE problem with it all. Majority of this stuff is what I've bought off Xur over the previous weekends. The only weapons/gear I've gotten by grinding were the bounties 5 exotic items from nightfalls. But why is it that playing for around 800+ hours to get anything good? I've noticed that many people who have finally received their Gally was through playing the game that much, a select few who bought it off Xur the first few weeks the game was out. So far, I've played the Nightfall for all 3 characters since December of last year. I've gotten plenty of great stuff, but the problem with it, I KEEP getting the same stuff. Whether it be the same exotic 5 times in a row (not kidding, 5 Ice Breakers, 5 weeks in a row...) or a LEGENDARY ENGRAM, strange coins (varies in amount received), or just a plain old legendary weapon I could buy at a vendor. The Nightfalls have been, and always will be, very difficult to complete, especially solo. You should be rewarded the rarest of items in the game, not something you can get from what is already given at the weekly heroic, bought at a vendor, or an engram (unless it's an exotic weapon/armor engram). Since the launch of HoW, the first Nightfall I received my first Etheric Light using my Warlock, a legendary shotgun for my Hunter, and strange coins for my Titan. Ever since then, I've received only legendary items that are available at vendors, strange coins, and legendary engrams. I'm just in it for the exotic items that may be dropped, a legendary item that can't be found anywhere else, or etheric light. Why is the system like this? The loot system needs a MAJOR fix. I already know it's random, but how is random supposed to give you the same items each week in one of the most difficult activities in the game? I think it's time to consider looking into the loot system again Bungie. I get people who receive Gally every activity they play, and is the only thing they receive when they want everything else. While on the other hand, some just get everything except for the one item they want. Who else feels this way? I can't stand receiving the same items each week. I love playing Nightfalls, soloing CE raid, and playing PoE, but end up with too many strange coins, useless weapons, and the same exotic that I already own 3 for each character....
