Hum, that's quite interesting. You may mark a point on this, but it may depend on how gjallarhorn will be nerfed since we don't know how many percent will be removed.
We can't say right now but it may be a possibility and maybe that won't change the problem bungie is trying to fix unless gjallarhorn become useless witch is clearly not their intend.

Please tell me last time bungie nerfed down something down to a reasonable level. It will either be hit pretty hard(making it useless) or nudge it down a bit but it still remain strong. My bet is the last one.

Well trying to fix the weapons isn't the problem, it's the time they take to change. Having a useless weapons for two weeks is not a problem but 6 months... If they want to optimise theirs weapons, they should make more often than on every 6 months.
