Its more than just taking the bait...they are swallowing it whole without even a second thought. People wonder why things never change? Its because the illiterate masses will tend to immediately accept anything they are told as being true. This is why our politicians have such an easy job. They can vote how they like and when election comes up they can claim they never voted that way and no one bothers to pay attention to the record even when its put in front of them.
