I disagree with most of what you say. The thorns burn does a massive amount of damage. It tics for 7 damage, 5 or 6 times. That is like fitting hit with two shots at once. If they leave base damage alone and change the range and dot, the gun will be good not god like.
The black hammer is broken. Granted nightfalls are the only time it is used and it does not work on shield but most strikes have a boss that you can spam shots. Hitting Atheon for roughly 17k for 25 shots over the 30 sec you get to shot, is crazy. Is two decent guardians can down a raid boss in one or two goes.
The ice breakers ammo change. (Not really a nerf) will force us to interact. If you are board playing the game while your icebreaker recharges ammo maybe you should try pulling out your primary, it shoots bullets too.
If you have not been lucky enough to play with the ghorn, it's amazing. When I play any pve even it is the only exotic I use. That is why I am happy the ghorn is getting a nerf. Now I can finally use another exotic. The ghorn made good players great, bad players good, and great players kill things faster. I for one am looking forward to an experience were I have to use skill to win fights not just jump and shot.

You're an idiot. If you want to use something besides ghorn then do so. Absolutely no one forces you to use it. As for the rest black hammer is really good on 3 mini-bosses which are going to be sniped to death either way, and maybe three strike bosses. The rest it's only so-so on, and if you're into sniping mob waves, it's pretty terrible.

No one forces me to use it but if you have the best weapon in the game that allows you to solo raids and bosses. Why would you put yourself at a disadvantage by using something else? But I do not always use I was just making a point. I understand if you are not skilled enough and must rely on using a broken weapon to accomplish your goals. But for the guardians who are skilled and are tired of being grouped with others who are not but have the godhorn, who utterly fail at the game but since they can wipe a room with one shot they are considered good. The guardians who spend 5 min waisting ammo to glich heavy instead of using other skills to kill their target. The guardians who post on forum "add me have maxed gally." These unskilled guardians are the reason the gun needs to be fixed. And if you think other wise maybe you fall into the unskilled category. The few sniper bosses you are talking about are the only times the black hammer is used. And although the icebreaker is great if you have the black hammer you never use it other then ammo glitching. Both for special and for heavy.

Yes. You're an idiot for thinking that everyone has to have their ghorns nerfed before you can "do fights that take skill instead of just jumping and shooting". You want a challenge? Don't use your best weapons. Hell some people decide to go for challenge by not using guns at all. There is nothing which locks you into using those best guns, and crying about lack of challenge when you refuse to do anything to increase that challenge. The options are there. If you really wanted challenge you'd avail yourself of the options available to you. If you don't, then it's clear you either don't really want a challenge or are an idiot. Yes black hammer is really really good in the situations it's good in. And incredibly meh the rest of the time. I call that balance. Bungie doesn't like chewing through bosses? Then don't make the best strategy to sit back and snipe.

Ok so I just did the weekly one of our firetrap members died in a bad spot and while I went for the Rez I ended up dying. Our third guy got in the hiding spot In the back and we had to wait for 20 min while his ice breaker charged. Instead of helping his team he decided to hide and shot everything sure that's his stratify but me and the other dead guy had nothing to do. Sure day don't die next time or whatever bit things happen this game is about team work not solo players on a team. If you make the over powered weapons force people to work more as a team the game will be better. If you think running with a fate bringer, black hammer, and gally is the best set up ever and that is all you do. Take a step back and realize you are the prob you do not play the game as a team you are an all in one army. I can't explain it to you bud but I can't understand it for you.

That you're a bad teammate who went for a rez he couldn't get and put the entire fight on one guy's shoulders? You realize that when the changes go live that exact same story repeats itself except it takes thirty minutes instead of twenty right? I only ever play with my friends and we have an understanding. If you die, die where you can be rezzed. If you die in a bad spot then you either leave and come back or you stay dead and that's what you get. Dying in a bad spot is YOU being a bad player, and leaving you there is the best thing for the team. You want back in? Leave and rejoin the fireteam. Good teamwork and weapon loadouts are just not the same thing. I'm sure you're cute and all with your little one man army loadout. I'd hardly call blackhammer an every day weapon, but if it makes you happy then sure. But a group working together will always get better results, even when using no guns.
