Two solutions: -Just give the Titan a blink on one subclass, and now everyone can do it. Or -add a new side roll/dodge maneuver, similar to either Fallen Captains or Hive Knights, so players can dodge the blinking attacker. Make this non existent on the subclass that has blink. Now, give me a job, I solved it. Lol

  • They are giving an evade. Which would be the perfect counter if it wasn't only for a hunter.

Titans have Shoulder Charge. If you give Titans Blink then Hunters and Warlocks will demand SC. How many posts are there decrying how unstoppable SC is? Thousands. Anyone who's actually used it has probably been killed on approach way more than they've succeeded. Between Shotguns, Fusion Rifles, people popping Supers, Defender and Sunsinger melee shields or just getting shot to hell on approach, I'd put my success rate with it in PvP at maybe 20% If it wasn't fun to connect one out of every five times, I'd use a different perk. If they nerfed it, it would be completely pointless. Do you think that people get kills every time they Blink? I see people use it all the time, why aren't they always at the top of the leaderboard? They die just as much as anyone else, but we don't remember if a Hunter or Lock uses a regular jump and kills us, but Blink stands out. Just like we don't remember all the times we die to every other weapon, we just remember Thorn because we knew what it was from the burn.

  • Just to get this outta the way.. comparing SC to blink is like comparing SGA to Thunderlord. But more on point, I agree giving titans blink is not an option, but they should have been given an evade / dash. Either a tuck&roll similar to the nightstalker, or a dash that's basically like a shoulder charge with no melee at the end, but activated at any time. The Titan has no short distance burst that moves you enough to evade someone closing with blink. If they're not dumb enough to mess up their tactic, you're at a disadvantage. For me its not about it being a crutch like ppl imply. The problem is that it gives decent-good players an advantage that can only be countered by having it.

  • My first suggestion is based on the least-impacting solution. This modifies the code the least; add blink to one class. Probably defender, or even the new class.

  • Definitely not Defender. They're not supposed to be mobile, they're supposed to be tanks. And I don't agree that Titans should have Blink. I main a Titan, and I love it, but our differences are what makes us special. The Hunters and Warlocks can keep their Blink. I'll give 'em a safe place to Blink to when they're taking too much heat, yes?
