Where is The Last Word? Belive me, it just got more viable due to the patches. TTK on the weapon is pretty much unchanged, and will still 3-shot from the hip. Which is what people seem to miss.
I'm excited to see the effect of the changes, but I don't know if I'll ever stop using TLW. Pairs to well with both shotguns AND snipers.

Yep. Still the most noob pistol and broken gun. Using the fastest gun to kill in the game is always popular lol. I hardly ever got killed by thorn unless i actually deserved it. Last word is the only gun that consistently gets cheap kills. Ay one match and you will see the top scoring person usually has that gun equipped yet the thorn gets all the bitching. Lol

The gun wouldn't be so great hadn't the maps been so centerd around close quarters combat. There is always several spots on each map were that HC just dominates. [spoiler]read: hip-fire dominates[/spoiler] As far as TLW goes, little will change for those with a true aim I think. The nerf seems to hit "spray-and-prayers" harder. I still can't wait to play around with my PvP loadouts again though. Got some sweet weapons that have been waiting in the vault for a patch like this. ^_^

I agree with snipers. I have a hard time with selection when I pair it with a shotgun.

Edited by MatserChief: 7/19/2015 3:39:01 PMGuess it's a force of habit on my part. In CQ-senarioes hip-fire tears apart shotgunners and blinkies, while you can still sort of stay at a range. I only really use shotguns if encountering multiple enemies or when beeing rushed. In open areas it's easier to pick your battles and the choise between a long- or mid-range weapon is more obvious.
