blink is sooo dumb o let's blink away from a tracking gally shot with tracking wp and be completely unharmed that's about my only complaint about blink
English

How bout when you hit a ledge with your foot an blink only jumps you straight up, the bit that you CANT reload during blink or the fall to ground after, the bit thats its a very short jump an very hard to control, Also if you time the jump right, you can jump out of almost any damage or projectile path with basically any jump except the warlock's hover jets
-
you sir have made no valid point here.. short distance? it's actually pretty far to teleport.what retard needs to reload while vaporizing thru the air lol? an I have yet to ever see some one blink straight up because of a ledge .don't try to back blink up if 90% of your kills come from blink shotgun cuz your also one of those thorn is not op kinda people
-
Edited by DarthBrando: 7/19/2015 1:23:00 PMMy point is you only hate blink cuz it makes it harder for you to track enemy movements, my point is by running blink unless very good at it you can handicap your own movement options in several ways
-
Lol firstly i barely use shotgun or blink, thorn is too OP an im glad its being nerfed yet i dont even have the thorn bounty completed yet. Reloading during a jump can save your life if you are out numbered/flanked, I dont use blink cuz either by my controller or getting stuck on map piece i mess it up or become to disoriented to use it properly I dont use shot guns as much cuz you only got 1 shot to get it right an u miss n ur dead With hunter its the shortest jump which limits certain travel lanes in maps like the cabal fort on mars an requires you to take the slightly longer way around from one zone to another
-
I just think that if your tracked by a rocket you should be hit if your in the open regardless
-
Lol so noob tube auto hit? I only say that cuz even FiHM and javelin missiles are evade able. Rockets can not change directions of 65 degree angles or more, with a proper guidance system they can 180 turn but its similar to a 3 point pivot and takes time/ burns fuel and requires enough space with out hitting anything to do so. Also in the real world you can shoot and cause rockets to detonate prior to target
-
pretty much if you in the open water is a shark going to miss you? you can't get away from tracking with any other jump besides blink even if you arnt hit by the initial blast the following wp rounds should hit you while you essentially dead in the water waiting to hit the ground or the blink to recharge not just make them forget you didn't die
-
If you're using Gally in the crucible you're basically a piece of garbage with no skill. Pick up a non exotic machine gun scrub
-
Also if you dont splash, arent bleeding, or punt the shark in the nose it will leave ya alone
-
punt the shark in the mouth? are you slow lol? not bleeding go ask all those shark stack victims if they were all bleeding or splashing
-
Also sharks are only attracted mainly to things splashing in the surface or the smell of blood in the water
-
Seriously it sound odd but the number 1 defense thing you can do is hit the sharks nose as hard as you can or hit him in the eye. Sharks have an intense amount of nerve endings and EM field detection in their nose its how they sense migration paths and feel their way through the water Hitting it hard in the nose is the most common deterrent told to ppl by lifeguards an such as to the shark its essentially like gettin kicked in the nuts
-
Ive dodged gally 3x with normal double jump so yea its dodge able in other ways
-
o 3x you counted? get out of here with that nonsense lol
-
Its not sumthin ya forget
-
So it's exactly the same is turning around a corner? You know... where it hits the wall because it's still tracking? Tracking has massive drawbacks when it comes to just slipping a quarter inch behind a wall. Blink isn't any different. (I don't and can't use blink, just never had a problem with it except when ppl glitch it and cheat)
-
except when you slip behind a wall wp rounds still hit you blink just makes them act like cluster bombs
-
Wolf pack rounds don't go "around" an object to hit you... they go straight for you just like the round does if something is in the way... too bad. I've evaded ghally more than a few times. I get killed tons more by non tracking rounds... much much better in PVP.
-
ok go use gally in PvP it's basically the only rocket launcher I use it will track you around a corner you just turned..and If the getting away scotch free from rockets is dealable can you defend that you can blink off a fusion grenade?
-
Nothing tracks around corners. Fusion grenades I know nothing about, so won't go into that debate. I've missed plenty of shots in PVE with ghally because they tread behind a thin board. And wolf pack rounds scatter with only very few hitting them. And none hitting them when it's a full wall.
-
lol next time you inn pve just go shoot the ground anywhere near any enemis and watch your wolf pack rounds. "track" the nubs it's pretty cool to see
