If you require Gjallarhorn for any end game content you're just not very good at the game, period.

No because Im so overjoyed Shooting at A useless boss that takes 15 min. To kill to get Shit. Again.....and again. Oh and Again. This Is NOT a hard Game. Its not. The problem is the shit dps a Lot of guns have. Shit guns create players that end up feeling left Behind By people that have been Playing longer. Thats why they nerf the shit out of everything I live in this game for because I took my time Playing day after day Hoping to get something good. The Problem is their Reward system. That has always been the problem. Since this game came out. Don't forget the times When you did that Nightfall that took forever and got Ascendant Energy. If anything There's a Ton of guns that need buffs. That's it. But thats Harder. So They buff what's good and has been good for a long time. And make it feel like it doesn't matter anymore. Thats the problem.

That's not the point ninja, they are taking everything that makes the game different and interesting and nerfing it. This has happen to so many other MMO's that you think they would see it. Depressing. On top of that we've seen the true bungie community and how ugly they are to everyone. People hide behind their animosity and make fun of other people like spoiled little children. People have the freedom to express how they feel wether you like it or not. Just because you don't agree doesn't give you the right to be an complete ass. Just sad.
People have the freedom to express how they feel wether you like it or not.... ...doesn't give you the right...
Logic fail.
-
Meaning you can express your opinion without being an ass.

The argument doesnt work...i could say beat skolas using nuthin but a fatebringer. No special or heavy weapons allowed, then if u can't i come to the conclusion that you are a scrub. The arguement doesnt work. Really if u dont have a gally by now and u have been playing for more than a few months...well git gud scrubs. Gally is easy to get. The game knows if u r shit and wont give u one. Only those who are worthy may weild its power!!!
-
Wrong. The game only gives gallys to shit players that need it to carry them through the game
-
It was 8 months before I got one and had completed over 50 Raids by that point. (Vast majority on Hard). Do not have a Fatebringer either which is getting a bit annoying now.
-
How about letting people play the way they want to?
-
That makes no sense. You can still use Gjallarhorn after the patch. They're not taking it out of the game, just reducing its effectiveness slightly.
-
It's not about the nerf bro. It's about the impact on our community. Some Gjallarhorn owners take pride in their ownership and want to help others through some of the more difficult parts of the game. To have a Gjally is what makes it bearable to carry others. Past-nerf it'll still be possible (I think), just a lot harder. So people will stop carrying others through, so they might be left behind and start whining... You see the redundancy?

I have been a Sherpa when no one on the team had a Gjallarhorn (including me). Although useful the gun should never be a requirement. I was using Eidolon Alloy and Dragon's Breath when we killed Crota on Hard on Thursday and will not believe the weapons a member of our team used for the whole of VoG beforehand. (No Land Beyond).
-
It's possible, but tedious and not fun. And the tedious bit is what is annoying people.
-
It really is not much different. Taking Atheon down in 2 rounds is little different than taking him down in one.
-
Don't tell me, tell all elitists ;-)
-
Sorry, I don't buy that argument at all. You're saying that the only reason you were prepared to help other people was because you had a broken OP rocket launcher that made the game easier?
-
Yes, because I value my time and want to help others as well. If you don't understand that, then it's better to leave.
-
It's no more a crutch than when people say Warlock self-res is in my opinion.
-
Warlock self res should also not be a requirement. It is great for doing a fight for the first time as a safety net but should not be relied upon beyond that. Skolas is easier with Titans than Warlocks for instance.
If you require Gjallarhorn for any end game content you're just not very good at the game, period.
This. I always say proffered but not required. You have it? Yay! You don't? Well you can still stay and help! :D
