Teacher: Cursive is very important in future.
[spoiler]later that year I forgot how to write and read cursive. [/spoiler]
[spoiler]began making my own fancy cursive language. It's easy to read and not retarded looking. [/spoiler]

I wrote exclusively in cursive until 10th grade when two different teachers of mine asked me to stop because they did not know how to read cursive. It wasn't just my handwriting, they honestly said they did not know how to read it at all.
