Bungie has never nerfed or buffed things in Halo.
The only time they nerfed stuff in Halo was in Halo 3 with the dual wieldable shotguns as well as the melee. Those were the ONLY things nerfed in Halo. Nothing was ever buffed or nerfed otherwise.
I believe in Halo Reach they might have nerfed some of the armor abilities. But never near as bad as this.

They never nerfed armor lock! lol. That ability got annoying!

Oh, I might have been misremembering... I thought they like nerfed the amount of time it was active or something? I could be misremembering, and I probably am.

Do you think they will change this? I really don't care at this point because I can deal with using the other weapons but not with black hammer I like it too much

Uhhh I mean, anything is possible. I strongly doubt it, though. I'd be interested in seeing the usage data on Black Hammer. I suspect it has not been used as often as people suggest. I know whenever I play strikes it only ever seems like one of us are running it.
